n-engine ("us", "we", or "our") operates the n-engine mobile application and database services. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

1. Information Collection and Use

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our Service to you:

• Personal Data: While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Data"). Personally identifiable information includes your Email Address, Name, Mobile Number, Roll Number / Registration Number, and Date of Birth.
• FCM Push Tokens: We collect and register Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens to deliver time-critical timetable schedules and announcement alerts to your device.

2. Data Safety, Retention & Deletion Rights

We value your privacy and practice responsible data management:

• In-App Deletion: You can permanently delete your user profile and all associated data directly from the "Profile" screen inside the n-engine application.
• Request Deletion: If you cannot access the app, you may request data deletion by contacting our administrator team. All personal records, schedules, and active push tokens will be immediately purged from our databases.
• Automatic Data Deletion over Time: Data may be automatically deleted over time. Temporary files, inactive session tokens, expired timetable logs, and stale push tokens are automatically purged periodically to ensure user privacy, data minimization, and optimal system performance.

3. Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us. We employ industry-standard encryption, SSL transport protection, and secure server headers to safeguard your academic records and accounts. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
